Maya is crashing

This is me working on my final for Intro to 3D Animation one hour before it was due. 

But then... 

The spinning wheel...

"A software problem has caused Autodesk Maya to close unexpectedly..."

"AAAAAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

CRASH!

Needless to say, I managed to redo the lightings and background before it was due..
